Paul Rog is an artist living and working in France. His practice is rooted in traditional oil painting and engages with themes of time, architecture, and human presence.

Drawing on the tradition of oil painting, as well as the visual language of Gothic and Flemish masters, Paul Rog creates spaces in which the past, the present, and a sense of the future overlap. In his work, architecture acts as a bearer of memory and traces of time, while the human figure often appears suspended between gestures, action, and observation.
